I can not believe the weekend is over. It was the first weekend since having Sydney we didn't have the girls. It was amazing and weird at the same time, haha!
I almost think it was too quite.
As all of you already know the Kansas City Royals won the World Series!!
We are huge Royals fans! Before having Olivia we went to a game or two every week the entire summer. Now having two kids we go to the games when we can. We had the chance to go to 2 post season games this year and they were amazing!
I wasn't around the first time we won the World Series. I was born in 87' so I had no idea how amazing and fun it would be to see the parade and see all the players and just be in the same place as almost 800,000 Royals fans! It really was amazing to be there. I am little bummed we didn't take Miss O but oh my goodness there were just to many people there for us to keep track of her. We lost my mom and cousin at one point.
I think every player is my favorite! I mean they are all such nice and great players. I totally have a huge crush on Ben Zobrist wife now. She's cute, funny, passionate and an amazing singer! I'm so glad we got to see the players and see how much they love playing for Kansas City.
Here are some snapshots from the parade. Hope you all enjoy!
Hope you guys have a wonderful day! I'm hoping to whip up a recipe for you tomorrow!
Hi friends!! Is anyone still reading this thing?! Probably not but just in case you are here's what's been going on.
Two kids is a lot of work like WOAH! I wish I had free time but there just isn't much anymore.
Miss O has started going to daycare Tuesday and Thursday so I can get go into work and get other things done. She LOVES it. She has so many friends there. Miss O is not my shy one.
Little Lady aka Sydney is doing great! I can't believe she turns 6 months on Monday. I have no idea where in the world six months went but boy did it go by fast. I can't believe I'm saying this but its taken a good 6 months for me to get back into a rhythm having two kiddos. I thought it would be a piece of cake. Wrong.
Anyways, a lot has been going on but I wanted to share with you that I'm back to blogging now that I have some time in the mornings and at night a few days of the week. We have a rhythm down and I can't wait to start writing again. I miss it. I really do.
Check back next week for a new recipe! Its SOUP and pumpkin season! I'm so excited.
But until then here's so highlights in pictures, because well I love pictures!
Wow I can't believe its September already!? Where did summer go?
It went by way to quickly that's for sure!
We have finally found our groove since Chris has gone back to school. It was hard to first few days. More like first couple of weeks but now going on week three I think we got it down.
I was really spoiled having him home the entire first 3 months with Syd Boo. And let me tell you two kids is a lot harder than I really thought it would be. They are always both needing something at the same time!
But they are still cute as ever! Am I right, :)
I also want to let you guys in on a little something new I've decided to do. For months I watched a girl I went to high school with join It Works! and change her life. After months and months of deciding weather or not to try a product, finally one day I said why not? What's it going to hurt to try one thing.
Well that one thing was Thermofit and within a week of using it I decided to try some more great products.
Then after about two weeks of using and loving all the products I was using I decided to bite the bullet and become a distributor. At first I wasn't sure if I should but then I decided why not. I'll only be out a few bucks and its worth trying if I can earn a little extra money right. I decided I would give it a go and make a little extra money for Christmas. We usually always use Chris' football bonus but this year I wanted to save that.
I can not tell you how much I love love love all these products and how much I can't wait to buy others that I haven't tried yet. I love that everything is with all natural ingredients and non-gmo! That was a huge bonus.
Chris and I started the 90 day challenge to help us lose some pounds. I have a wedding, 10 year high school reunion and 5 year anniversary trip to get ready for next year. Plus, its just time for me to get healthy and lose weight after having babies two years apart!
I want YOU to join us in this challenge!
Honestly if you're interested in trying ANYTHING I want you to email me! or leave you email in the comments.
These are products I believe in! So don't hesitate to contact me for information.
If there's some interest I might even do a wrap giveaway!
Comment below your email if you would like information,
Happppppy Fri-Yay! I'm so glad its Friday. Chris started school this week so its been a crazy week to get back to the normal of school. And I forgot how much it sucks to wake up and cook breakfast and pack a lunch every morning.
Anyways, Syd Boo is now 3 months. I have NO IDEA how this happened. Time went by fast with Miss O but its a whole lot faster with a second baby. Things are hectic and crazy around here but its amazing.
She's sleeping pretty good at night. She will go to bed around 8:30-9 and sleep until 4 or 5 then go back to sleep till around 7:30.
She naps about 3 hours during the day if she can get to sleep. She's a light sleeper during the day and usually Big Sister wakes her up non-stop. Even when she's in the other room.
Syd eats alllllll the time. I mean she really doesn't but gosh dang I feel like once she's fed and then O gets a meal or "nack" (snack) then its her turn to eat again.
She is definitely my needy baby. Her big sister would play on the floor or in the swing all day long when she was a baby, never wanted to be held a long time. Sydney loves, loves, loves to cuddle. Which I'm enjoying since we have no clue if these two ladies are it for us.
She's wearing 3 month clothes and almost out grown them. We're now in size 2 diapers after about 6 blowouts this week....
She's such a great addition to our family. I love our little family of four. I almost don't remember what it was like with just Miss O.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and all the dads out there has a great Father's day!
We didn't do a whole lot this weekend. We've been hanging pretty low with a newborn. Friday we had dinner at my in laws and watched the Royals on t.v.
Then Saturday Miss O and I met our besties at the city pool for some fun swimming. It was the first time we have been this year and its def going to be something we do a lot more. She loved it!!
We went once last year and she didn't really like it but I think she was just to little, she wasn't quite walking yet. I'm so glad this year was a hit.
Sunday we woke up early went out for breakfast to celebrate Chris' second Father's day! Then we went to see my dad and his dad, came home watched some baseball had breakfast for dinner (its our favorite thing to cook for dinnertime) and just relaxed before the week started. There was laundry and dishes I should have probably done but I know there will be there when I wake up so I didn't worry about doing them!
These delicious black raspberries picked out our back door!
Also, this is the text you send your hubs when you've been to the grocery store about 32 times specifically for paper towels and keep forgetting them, then you go AGAIN and he says don't come home till you remember them! HAHA
